No Bake Peanut Butter Balls

  • Servings: 15-20 (depends on size of balls)

Ingredients:

1 cup of quick rolled oats
1 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup ground flax
1/2 cup natural crunchy peanut butter (or nut butter)
1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:

Mix all ingredients together. Form into balls and place on parchment paper. Chill for at least 1 hr before serving

Notes:

To add some Iron to this treat, mix in 2 tbsp of black strap molasses for 3.5g of Iron and an extra 47 calories!
